Novelists’ Survival Group monthly workshops

A series of ongoing monthly workshops with flexible attendance. Ideal for those nearing the end of a first draft or re-writing their novel, autobiography or travel book. We ask that writers have 40,000 words of their draft, a synopsis, step outline and character notes. We offer help developing synopses etc We may accept shorter drafts if a detailed plan and 1,000 writing sample can be provided.

Learn new techniques, do fun exercises in class, share your work, get professional advice and receive inspirational tuition in between writing at home. The workshops are taught by Ardella Jones with occasional specials by Jo Hepplewhite and members of our Tutor Team including advice on polishing, pitching, publishing from Simona Sideri, editor.

When and where? The workshops are ongoing and can be joined at any time. When you sign up we will ask you to pre-book 5 sessions over 8 months or 10 sessions over 16 months. Workshops take place on the first Monday of each month 7 pm – 10.00 pm at a comfortable venue in London SW19 near Colliers Wood northern line tube.
